Whether you own a warehouse, run a small business or need durable metal shelving for your personal storage needs, reinforced steel garage shelving units are the way to go.
Garage Shelving is easy to assemble. There are generally 2 types of Garage Shelving Units – ones that come with already welded together uprights and others that need uprights assembled as well.
2 Types of Shelving Units
In general, the ones with welded uprights have lower bearing thresholds – for example 600kg per entire unit (that is 150kg per shelf). These shelving units are faster to assemble. All you need to do is set them upright, choose your shelving heights and positions, assemble the 8 beams (that make up 4 levels of shelves) and finish it by placing the shelving panels on the beams also known as rails.
The other type of garage shelving is the heavy duty shelving that also requires the homeowner to assemble the uprights which is just assembling the two posts, 3 horisontal and 2 diagnol beams to make a sturdy upright. The rest of the assembly is similar to the medium duty shelving assembly – from choosing the height of the 4 levels of shelving to placing the panels on the rails, it shouldn’t take longer than 10-15 minutes.
Sizes of the Shelves
The shelving is made of reinforced steel and powder coated – the sizes range from 1.2 to 2m in width and 0.5-0.6m in depth. The height of all shelving units is 2m and all of the shelving units come with 4 leves of shelves, however additional levels can be bought for additional storage and to meet your specific needs.
All of their shelving units are extremely durable, and offer superior stability and safety as they can be bolted to the floor for permanent fixture. Perfect ideal for commercial, industrial, workshop and garage storage.
